Your guide will provide you all the safety gear and you we’ll begin with an easy 15-minute walk to the Solheimajokull glacier’s viewing point, where your guide will have a speech about the glacier history and geology. Then a 10-minute walk will take you to the glacier’s edge.

Here, your guide will demonstrate how to put on the crampons and provide a safety briefing on navigating glacier hazards and using the necessary equipment during the glacier hike because safety is top priority.
