🧊 Solheimajökull Glacier – Ice Meets Fire

Begin with a short walk to the glacier’s edge, where your expert guide will equip you with all necessary safety gear and provide a briefing on glacier safety and geology. Then, step onto the ice for a guided hike through ash-covered crevasses, shimmering ice formations, and towering ice walls — all while your guide captures stunning photos along the way. This year-round adventure is safe, accessible, and unforgettable.

🍽 Lunch in Vík – A Bite by the Beach

Recharge with a cozy lunch at the charming Súður-Vík Restaurant, a local favorite perched on a hill with sweeping views over the village of Vík and the sea beyond. Known for its warm atmosphere and rustic Icelandic charm, this spot serves up classic comfort food with a local twist—think fresh Arctic char, hearty lamb stew, rich soups, and satisfying burgers.

The restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored historic building and often features local art on the walls, making it as much a cultural stop as a culinary one. It’s the perfect place to refuel before heading to the black sand beach just a few minutes away.

🌊 Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach

Walk along the world-famous Reynisfjara Beach, known for its dramatic black volcanic sand, powerful Atlantic waves, and towering basalt columns. Explore the unique rock formations, including the legendary Reynisdrangar sea stacks, rising sharply from the ocean just offshore.
This breathtaking coastal stop offers stunning views, striking geology, and the raw power of Iceland’s natural beauty — making it a must-see highlight of the South Coast.

🌊 Dyrhólaey – Cliffs, Puffins & Panoramas

Next, we journey to Dyrhólaey, a dramatic promontory offering sweeping views over Iceland’s southern coastline. This former volcanic island is now known for its towering arch, black sand beaches, and cliffside puffin colonies (during summer months). It’s a perfect place to soak in the vastness of the North Atlantic Ocean—and maybe catch a puffin striking a pose.

🌈 Skógafoss – Feel the Power

Our next destination is the mighty Skógafoss, a thundering curtain of water that’s as powerful as it is picturesque. With a width of 25 meters and a vertical drop of over 60 meters, it’s one of the largest waterfalls in the country. On sunny days, keep an eye out for double rainbows forming in the mist! For a bird’s-eye view, climb the 370 steps to the top—your calves may burn, but the view is worth it.

💦 Seljalandsfoss – Walk Behind a Waterfall

We kick off our journey at the mesmerizing Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. Dropping from a 60-meter-high cliff, this beauty allows you to walk behind the cascade for an unreal panoramic view—just be prepared to get misted! Surrounded by moss-covered cliffs and seasonal wildflowers, it’s a true photographer’s dream. Pro tip: pack a rain jacket and waterproof shoes!

Winter Iceland A trip in Iceland is the feeling like you are on another planet. Thank you Deividas, this trip was one of the most amazing adventures of my life. Deividas not only a great guide but also a professional photographer. Because of him amazing travel images will remain not only in memory but also in photos. Although I traveled on March 10-16, the Icelandic landscapes provided more impressions. Thank you Deividas for a wonderful time and unforgettable experience!

Fantastic tour The tour was fantastic! Our guide, Deividas, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He shared fascinating information about the glacier and showed us how to put on the equipment properly. The hike lasted four hours and was a truly fun and interesting experience. It was just the two of us and our guide, which made the tour feel very personal. We even had a photoshoot, and we received the pictures the next day. The photos turned out amazing, just like the experience itself. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a unique adventure!

Absolute walking on the moon "Walking on the moon" this is a first phrase that comes to my mind when I try to recall Icelandic experience given by my soulmate Deividas. I will never forget how we Explored Lithuanian woods together during service in army long time before. Good things never change. This guy really lives his passion and shares it with others without any excuse. He loves taking risk combined with aesthetics in unique way. He is crazy but not insane. Adventures guaranteed. Safety guaranteed. Memories guaranteed. This is what Pro guidance means.

Great Experience! The tour was simply fantastic! The guide Deividas told us a lot about the glacier. The hike on the glacier was great fun and our guide went to a lot of trouble.I would particularly like to emphasize that FrostyTours offers private tours. Here, the fitness of the participants can be better catered for and you can get the most out of the time. In addition, the guide Deividas is a photographer and he takes some great pictures of the hike. It was a super great and worthwhile experience!

Truly fascinating experiece with Deividas on the glacier!!! The most important thing for me was safety because I never step on the glacier. Deividas is very experience glacier guide with wilderness first aid course. In the beginning it was strange to step on the glacier but step by step I gain more courage with Deividas. I can describe Deividas and his company Frosty Tours as small company which gives You unique profesional experiece about Solheimajokull glacier. If you are looking for local glacier guide who can deliver lifetime memories with unique photo shooting skills, without doubt I will choose Deividas!
